Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking online myself?
While online booking sites show you options, they don’t provide the guidance, support, or personal touch I do. As your travel advisor, I get to know your preferences, budget, and travel goals, then create a customized trip that fits you perfectly. I also handle the details and provide support before, during, and after your trip.
2. Do you charge a fee for your services?
I earn a commission directly from the travel suppliers, meaning my planning services come at no extra cost to you. Travel suppliers often build the cost of an agent’s commission into their pricing whether you use an advisor or not. That means you’re already paying for the service—so why not take advantage of the expertise, guidance, and personalized planning a travel advisor provides at no extra cost to you?
3. Can you book more than Disney or Universal trips?
Absolutely! While I love helping families plan magical theme park vacations, I also plan cruises, all-inclusive resorts, international tours, European getaways, honeymoons, and customized trips of all kinds. If you can dream it, I can help you plan it. I also book simple overnight stays for business or leisure.
4. How does the planning process work?
It starts with a conversation where I learn about your travel style, must-haves, and goals for your trip. Then, I’ll create recommendations and options for you to review. Once you decide, I handle the booking, confirmations, and details. I also provide ongoing support leading up to your trip and while you’re away.
5. What if something goes wrong during my trip?
One of the biggest benefits of using a travel advisor is having someone in your corner. If unexpected issues arise, like delays, cancellations, or changes, I’ll assist in finding solutions so you’re not left navigating it alone.
6. Do you only book for families?
Not at all! While I love helping families make memories, I also plan romantic getaways, group travel, solo adventures, and luxury escapes. I’ll tailor your experience no matter who you’re traveling with.
7. How far in advance should I start planning my trip?
The sooner, the better! Popular destinations and resorts can book up quickly, especially during peak seasons. Ideally, planning should begin 6–12 months in advance, but I can also assist with last-minute trips.
8. Can you work within my budget?
Yes! I always take your budget into consideration and will recommend options that give you the best value for your money without sacrificing quality.
9. What kinds of destinations do you specialize in?
I plan all types of vacations, including Disney, Universal, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, European tours, and specialty curated travel experiences. Whether it’s close to home or halfway around the world, I can design the trip that’s right for you.
10. How do I get started?
Simply reach out to me through my destinations section or send me a message. From there, we’ll schedule a quick consultation to talk about your trip goals, and I’ll take care of the rest!
